I'll be in Kissimmee from April 8-13 and am looking for some car shows or cruise ins that would be within a 30-35 min. drive time. I hope there is something going on at this time.

Don't know what the dates are, but there's a Cruise in the 3rd Thursday of every month in Palm Bay at the Five Guys Burger on Palm Bay Rd and a little East of Minton Rd ! :burnout:
 
When ever I am in Orlando visiting family, I always try to make it to the Saturday afternoon/evening cruise in at Old Town Kissimmee.

Another excellent cruise in is at The Villages, but it is only held on the third Saturday of each month, so you'll miss it this trip. Heres a link to photos I took at one of the cruise ins at The Villages a year ago:

Theres a classic car museum and dealership right across the street from the Ringling Bros. Circus Museum in Sarasota if you get down that way.

There's also a Muscle Car Museum in Punta Gorda but I've never been and I'm not sure how far away that is and its mostly or possibly entirely GM only. Here's their website. http://musclecarcity.net/contact/

And unfortunatly, you are a couple weeks too late for the Spring Turkey Rod Run show in the Daytona Speedway infield in Daytona Beach. That is a huge two day event. http://www.turkeyrun.com/Turkey_Run_Home.html

Too far away maybe but theres the Palm Beach Barrett Jackson Auction while you are in Florida as well.

Hi Jean-Guy. You have to take a day and go to Don Garlits museum in Ocala. I know its more than 30 min away but it is worth the drive. I think its a little more than 1 hr. You will not be disappointed. Three buildings full of great stuff. Check out his web site. Bobby
