that's ok Biff, the tranny is shifting to soon for my taste just wondering if I can tighten the cable up to make it shift a little later without any problems.

I think you go the other way . But most guys do exactly what your doing trial and error it’s fun ! Playing with old stuff .

My wife was up at 4am watching the royal wedding. I actually slept in till 6 this morning which is very unusual for me. I watched Meaghan come into the church and Charles walk her up the isle then went and cooked breakfast. Had bacon, eggs, mushrooms and toast and coffee. Raining heavy right now and supposed to be rain all day. Have a great day guys.

Sounds like a good breakfast Mark, the bright side of it raining all day is no yard work to do.

Yeah it was good even if I say it myself. There are a few things left to do downstairs, nothing big fortunately. I did all the grass yesterday because it's growing like a weed and I knew I would have to wait a day which would make it even longer. Maybe we'll just make it a lazy day today. Why do something today when you can put it off till tomorrow LOL

Not so quick I just got out of the shower. I spent all day modifying a pair of hydraulic cylinders for my loader. Rebuild on mine were 1100 each but I got new ones that I need to modify the mounts for 350 shipped.
Always nice when you can fabricate things! Nice work CF .

They are the same length at 30 inch stroke and the same bore but only 1 inch pins on the end where the loader is 1 1/4 on the pins. I cut the lower mounts off and welded them on the new cylinders and put an adapter bushing in 4 pieces and tack welded it in the top then made 1 inch pins for the top.

Were you able to get a chance to try it out?

Not yet I have to make 1 more top pin and tack those bushings. I need to buy and install top hoses then as it has none for down psi. I bought it years ago and every time I lifted something it was running fluid out the top seals. It is on a 1948 tractor so it probably had alot of use before I got it.

That's what I like about farmers always making things work.
Good job CF.

Morning, I went to bed late had some grand kids over last night.
Coffee is almost ready and after that gonna go finish the semi.
what are you gonna do today Mark.
Grandkids can wear you out but a good tired. I'll be going to a car show tonight here in town. Starts at 5 till whenever. Supposed to be a good day but being a long weekend the guys might be away at their cottage or visiting family. I may take some pictures and post them if it's worth it. Have a good one.
