In 1995, right after moving to Minot ND, I had to attend a 6 week class in Erie PA. The people in Erie think they have the worst winters on the planet! I was prompted to get a hat at the Minot airport that read: NORTH DAKOTA - 30 Below keeps the riff-faff out. Wore it all over Erie and people went "Huh?".

-13 here plus a windchill but been real sunny all day.
Same for tomorrow apparently then -4 for Sat and Sun.
Snow isn't disappearing at all.
They're still plowing streets in Toronto so people can get out.

Father in law checked himself out of the hospital after having surgery for a brain tumor. Talked to him today and he figures he is at 80% but 2 of my boys drove from here to see him in Washington and they figure 60%. Got his Corvette out today and let my boys take him for a ride in it so best guess he is 100%. Damn old fart I love the way he thinks.....
