Lower bump stop is about 1-3/8”’ tall. Typically the gap between the frame rail and bump stop is about 1” near factory ride height.
You can run a shorter bump stop, but unless you’re running larger torsion bars you’re not going to like the result. The factory lower bump stops are progressive, and with the factory size torsion bars those bump stops are used quite frequently.
If you replace the progressive factory bump stops with a shorter, non progressive bump stop you'll end up with a really rough ride unless you increase the spring rate of the bars so you’re not using the bump stops all the time.
