just need a refresher on which side has right hand threads and which side has left ( has been awhile working on these )???

Another easy way to remember is always turn the lugwrench towards the rear of the car.

The last year they used left hand threads was 1970 model year. but alot of the pre 1971s that had left handed threads were converted to right hand threads because alot were broken off because newer tire changer/mechanics had never worked on them before.

Ya.but....it depends on whether the handle is up or down!!!

Years ago a 'Chivvy' guy I knew called me on the phone, "you gotta good impact?"

"Yeah, why?"

"I have a hub and wheel off, can't get the lug nuts loose."

(He had a "country" junkyard, usually about a dozen junkers around there)

So he brings it out to our place, throws it on the ground, and.....

I said, "Oh!! Chrysler !! Which side of the car is it off of?"

MAN!! He got this funny look on his face

drivers side, or left side has lh threads
Yup, Left side, LH thread, Right side, RH thread. Usually there is an L or R stamped into the center of the stud but not always.......especially on the RH ones or replacement studs.
