The pics of the Dusters and Roadrunner were taken when the cars were still new.

This type of thread seems to come up quite a bit and I`m a nostagalic guy ,so here`s a few of my old Mopars- circa mid 70`s.

Man Crackedback looking at that 70 GTX makes me wish that you had not sold it as well! Sure looks sweeeeeet!

Here is mine through the ages.

Spring of '83, about 1 year after I bought it for $1,600 with 13,701 original miles, numbers-matching, original paint except the hood, and original interior. Ah the good old days when cars were affordable! 13x4s on the front and 15x12s on the back, slicks gone, has an exhaust system now, roll bar, 2 big *** fuel lines hanging out of the bottom of the tank and two pumps in the trunk, butt-ugly snorkel scoop, 5.38 gears in a dana 60, etc. Just barely fitting in the garage is the '76 Gran Fury station wagon I took my driver's test in.

Summer of '89. Looks less like a track car but still runs the same, still has the original dual point and big *** rear wheels,
roll bar gone, still has the 5.38s. Fuel pressure gauge disappears between these photos. Turbo Mopars everywhere.

Summer of '94. Looks almost stock to the untrained eye. It isn't. Runs even better now because of electronic ignition.
Zero traction radial tires on 15x8s on the back now. 3.54s in the dana now.

July 10, 2008. One day before getting slammed by a moron outside of Carlisle.
Still all original paint except for the hood and trunk panel. Still original interior except for the carpet.

As it sits now awaiting a full restoration. Just look at the shine in that now soon-to-be-stripped 40 year old paint.
