Lexan in the factory gasket?

I have a 67 barracuda fastback. I decided I really don't wanna drill the windshield and rear window to bolt the lexan in. I plan on 3/16" for the front in the factory rubber. Has anyone tried the 1/8" in the rear gasket?

exactly what i have in a 69 barracuda.....using factory gasket 3/16 in front ....1/8 in rear.
