Lightweight spare tire!!

Jarlaxle, Do you know what year? Are they 16" as well? I would like to keep my Duster all Mopar!

They are 16" wheels...IIRC, the tire is a T125/90D16, on a black steel wheel.

AFAIK, they were standard (the fullsize spare was common, but optional) most of production, until the end in 2001. My wife's 86 had a donut originally (though had a fullsize tire when she got it). Mostly the low-end XJ's got the donut...odd as it sounds, your chances of finding one at a junkyard are highest if the Cherokee in question does not have tinted windows. Don't bother looking in a Limited or a Country...IIRC, those had a fullsize tire standard. If it has a rear-mounted tire carrier, it should also have a fullsize tire.

A few early (1993-96-ish?) GRAND Cherokees also had the donut...IIRC, it was the same tire.

Base-model Wranglers also got a "donut", but it was basically a full-sized (205/75D15, IIRC) temporary spare. It uses a 15x6" steel Jeep wheel, the same one as base Wranglers & Cherokees.
