Looking for 1/2" Door Jamb switches

Every place I've checked shows the 3/8" diameter switch for my '74, but it definitely has the bigger ones. Is there a source for these?

My 70 Duster uses the bigger one also..............no luck finding them yet. If I locate a source I will let you know.

I also will need those in the future, what about a 'heli-coil' soultion to reduce the dia to use 3/8" switches?

Same problem here. Ordered a set for my car and got the 3/8" switch.

Finding cars that old in any yards around here is really rare.


Rumblefish, good to see that something like that will work, my last resort is going to be a wander around the hardware store.


I did find the proper size in the Laysons catalog but have not yet checked to see if it is actually available.
