I was hoping to find my dads old 72' Duster drag car sold in 1992/93. It was out of Viroqua, Wi. (South of LaCrosse) and was sold to a man from the milwaukee area for $3500. The man was going to race it at Union Grove raceway. The car was originally a silver 340 duster but when it left, it was mostly primer grey with a white bolt on snorkel on the hood. It had the list as follows: steel slots in front and solid centerline wheels in back, fully tubbed with steel not aluminum, narrowed dana 60 with either 4.56 or 4.88 gears, ladder bars, 32.00" x 14.00" slicks, had a cage, fuel cell and battery in the trunk. The motor was a 440 bored .030 over with ported 906 heads with RT stamped on the front by the guy that ported them (Rudy Tydrich), solid cam, 12.7-1 comp. Hooker fenderwell headers, Gold box ignition, most of the rest of the electronics where mounted on the floor on a piece of wood. We used to race the car down in Cedar Falls Ia. and ran a best of 11.70. If anybody knows the whereabouts if the car, it would be really neat to know and see if it's still around or maybe if it's for sale. Thanks, bret
