Looking for a favour from Edmonton AB members - Shower head

Hi,
Long time lurker, lifetime owner of a 1967 Barracuda (42 years). I acquired the 1966 in the profile pic (First car I ever drove, 12 years of age) from my grandmother who bought it new in 1966 in Amos, Quebec. Haven't posted often. A former member of the Barracuda Owners Group on Yahoo.

OK, here goes. I am building a shower at my place and have a gooseneck waterpik shower head. Looked for another one for the downstairs shower. Found one on Kijiji in Edmonton (rabbit Hill Rd and 23rd Avenue area). Lady wont ship to me wants purchase done in person (I understand her skepticism, all kinds out there, etc).

If this is a possibility, I would ask that someone local to her area purchase it for me and send it to me by mail. That's it. I'll forward money for item and postage to me plus a couple of bucks for the trouble. If anyone wants to do me this favour, I would be grateful. I don't come on the forums much although I will keep and eye out if someone wants to DM me.

I thank you all in advance for this pretty harebrained endeavour. I remember a time when I would send a letter to Stephen's Performance in Alabama with a cheque, hoping that sometime or another I'd get a shiny new (to me) part in the mail. This is something like that.

Thanks for the support. I did see that 1MeanA is from the area, however I didn’t want to make my problem his problem. I was hoping there might be others from the area.

Here is the item I’m looking to match. I build bathrooms for a living this one is in my home.

The newer model available is a different color and restricts flow, so less desirable. Tht is why I am trying to match my old unit.

Maybe "the steering wheel guy" as he's called who lives in Edmonton might do this favor ? His name is Doug Lepak. Not sure if he is a member here but he restores steering wheels and is a mopar fan. Owns a couple of mopars.

ps can't you take the flow restrictor out? Seems like a lot of trouble to go to for a shower head.

Call Chatham Brass and get one, remove the restrictor like God intended and be prepared to be power washed every morning.

All the new shower heads are all water restricted now for a number of years. Guess they figure we're not smart enough to turn the water pressure down if needed. Most people including me want a strong flow.

Not all restrictions can be removed easily. We just swapped out the POS Delta for a Moen. Delta was 1.7gpm, Moen for the win, 2.5 gpm. Most we found were 1.5-2.0
