Looking for a value

-
From the 2019 collector car price guide: 1968 Barracuda V-8 fastback in very good condition [called #3] = $14,850. Power steering is a plus. Floor console is a plus. White is a desirable color. A good polish and wax job catches people's eyes. As does a set of mags. The big question is rust underneath, as it changes the value dramatically.

You had a cool grand dad.

I am not trying to start sh*t, and I certainly don't need you to tell me what to do. I was just trying to help the young man out from predators on the dark web.

Try finding a '68 Barracuda Fastback with 24K miles ( on the internet ) for 5K. Good luck.

Your words do not hurt me and I could care less of what you think. It's seems obvious that your ego was bruised by me disagreeing with your valuation of his car.

I know your not accustomed to having someone disagree with you
and it shows in your reply.

For your information, I have a car and a life. I am happy with both. It's sad that you get so upset over something that means so little. I wish you well. This forum is a special place because of people like you.

Take care and lighten up. Life is too short to be miserable and short fused.
It (life) gives us reminders every so often of how fragile it is.
One day we are here and the next day we may not be.
We have a choice of what we want to make of it. We can choose to be grateful of each day and be happy,
OR, we can choose to be the opposite. My hope for you is that you are grateful for every day you have here and can find happiness.

I am sincere in my reply to you.

A novel...

You hit the x, the black list marker, the shut down.

What in the heck is wrong with people just quoting you and debating your opinion or saying I disagree and this is how I feel... instead you hit the big red X and then basically shut everybody else down except one other person by saying only "listen to"

Thanks for explaining yourself, its learning.

What color interior?

AC?

Fender tag?

Honestly, more pictures would help you out a ton here.
Especially of the interior, engine, and underside especially the frame rails, floors, and the torsion bar cross member, the more detailed the pics, the better you are off.

Are you looking to sell it?
Are you looking for a rough appraisal?

You have to be more specific in the description and especially the pictures when you post these sort of questions about value.
Don't assume anything.

People will tend o lowball you and criticise you no matter what you do.
It's all part of the game......

My advice is to clean it up, get it running and driving well, and put it on E-Bay with a reserve higher than you expect, and that will give you the results that you need.

Good luck.

Don't refer to it as a second owner car. Refer to it as a one family car.

Unless it is still in his granddad's name, it is at least a 2 owner car
But, if it is, well, that opens up a whole nother can of worms
