Looking for best tip on disassembling a door

I have a door with cancer that i cant save. I have a donor door shell to takes its place.

My question is what the best way, and in what order; to disassemble the door.
If there is a certain order in which i can take it apart with ease and reassemble with the same ease that would be great and i welcome any and all tips.

Door is removed from the car at the moment.

Hinges, latch and outer handle

If your door has a wing window it can come out the same time as the window and regulator assy.

You didn't state what car. There was a link posted in recent thread where they detailed glass install and alignment process for hardtop.
A tip that may not apply, there are glass travel stops somewhere, limit how far up/down the glass will go. Some are mounted to the door with bolts. In many cases a eccentric stop in the regulator limits downward travel. Hex nut with flat screwdriver slot in its center. Adjust it to lower glass further into door, fuzzies will R&R much easier.

Download a shop manual, has all the info step by step. Am using it now on my 73 Sport, cleaning and renewing all the innards of the window and lock mechanisms.
