Remembering a true friend I lost, thank you Terry Sevener , for all the memories you have gave me in the last 37 years brother.. Cancer took my friend/brother we called Hippie , RIP brother.

This man taught me more then I can remember, or could use in my life.
And he was a true friend that was there at a blink if I needed anything, and I would do the same for him . Yes another great man many knew and respected yet many will never meet.

RIP Terry (Hippie) Sevener .

Enjoying this day at George Rays parking cars at a car show George put on.. he had such a strong mind and could make anyone smile just by showing up..
We did a grudge match that day (George's idea) My mod 170/6 standard was to much for Hippies 225 all stock , never will forget this day, I waited for him to go to the bathroom and George called us up two times then I herd George's announcer say over the P.A .. Terry had to make a pit stop as I was setting in my car.

RIP Buddy.

Sorry for your loss man. If there's a bright side to this sad situation, it's that he'll always live on in/through your memories.

Be well,
Pat

#Well, I did get to meet his family for the first time, they live in Michigan , his sister was sweet and took the time to talk with me, I showed her pictures of me on the wall that was being shown , and I did see my old 1/8 truck and showed her and told her how Hippie helped me buy it. I seen many many friends. :)
Thank all of you that took the time to peek in this thread :) make this old man on the hill feel better :steering:

Sorry to hear of your loss, Mike.
He is at a better Drag strip with Ronnie and Dick bench racing with The Grump and all of the others..........
Take care.........

sorry for your loss, thank you for sharing the memories with us. May Hippie rest in peace

Yes Mike he was one of a kind. I had known Terry for many years. I saw him last fall at the poker run and he was telling me, it was looking good for beating the cancer. But he had to give up taking care of his brother. He is with George Ray now. He will be missed greatly.

Sorry for the void caused from your friends passing !
I will say some prayers for comfort for you and his family .
Also thanks for sharing I enjoyed the quick peek into what looks like an priceless friendship filled with priceless memories .
Rip Hippie

Thank you for chiming in Johnnybegood, I will miss Terry , not seeing him at George Rays or at car shows anymore will be sad.
I hope to make me a T-Shirt with his name on the back with something like A Visionary Mopar Legend of the sport , He was a great builder back in the day and many like myself believe he was a Mopar Legend
