So very sorry for the loss of your dad. My sincere condolences
Thanks to everyone for their prayers and words of encouragement.
I've come back to this thread several times and reread your words.
The funeral was Monday...that's when it hit me hard, seeing Dad in the casket.
It hit me again today (Wednesday), when I realized my Dad won't be calling for my 50th birthday.
I've had a outpouring of birthday wishes from cousins I haven't seen or spoken to in 18 years, others over 30 years! That has helped.
When I was born in 1968, I came home in a 1964 Plymouth Sport Fury with a 426 Hemi in it.
I always say that's when I was hooked with the Mopar bug.
Later, I realized that the Street Hemi came out in 65, so I asked my Dad how the carbs were oriented.
He said diagonally...
