rims look to have plenty of clearance too.. just have to get them painted and buy the tires for them... that will finish the look..

Whut'er them funny holes in the rim, LOL?

Looks great, Joe. Is this your car? ...and what are you doing with the yeller rust bucket?

Looks awesome!! I never knew your car was brown, in your sig it always looked like burnt orange to me! I like the brown a lot!!

its actually jamies car but i put all the money and sweat into it. and i drive it most of the time too..lol so i say its our car..:)

pretty much why i parted the yellow one.. felt it was stupid to dump money into a rusty car when we had a spotless 70 here...

thanks man.. it is actually burnt orange.. its real overcast here today so it looks more brown.. in the sun is where the orange pops out..

Are you having those new rims painted body color? I hope so, I think it looked better with bodycolor rims with the dog dishes, like in your sig pic.

p.s. what size lowering blocks did you put in? I'd like to do the same thing with mine. It sits a little high in the back. My fault for ordering +1 over springs, now I want it lower..lol

Oh I didn't realize you had parted it out. This one sure is sharp.

yes they are getting painted body color.. i really don't like black steel wheels on a car unless the car itself is also black.

the blocks are 1.5 inch. u-bolts are 8 1/4 inch long... this car has +1" springs also. previous owner put them on.. figure the blocks will get me by until i get the money for the springs i want..

yea i was ready to order all the metal for the yellow car but after looking at everything it needed after the new metal was put on i decided it was just crazy to do anything with... if we didn't have jamies car already maybe i would have done something with the yellow cars body.

Lookin good Joe, Do you have a before profile pic you could post for comparison?
Maybe the top image is the before.?

top pic is the before pis. bottom pic is after,, look close. there is a big difference..

I thought it might be... I wasn't sure if it was the angle but I definitely see a dramatic drop at the rear.
You got me thinking.

Is that a stock rear? no mods other than the offset on the wheels. I like the idea of running 225's all the way around.

the rear is a stock a-body 8 3/4 with c-body axles.. the rally wheels on it are stock chrysler wheels.. 14x6 in the rear and 14x5.5 in the front. the rear springs are espo +1" springs that i put 1 1/2" lowering blocks on. so it should actually sit 1/2" lower then it would stock.
