Magnum 360 Oil Pan

Just wondering what oil pan would work on a magnum motor with a Hughes 426 stroker kit? I had one shipped that I picked up today and when we go to bolt it on it seems to have a large gap around rear. It is for a LA style block and I need a magnum. Last piece of the puzzle and really looking to fire this project.

sounds as if you got a pan for a 360 and you have a 340 stroked? they are different pans the size of the rear main is different

5.2 magnum should use a 318 pan
5.9 magnum should use a 360 pan

5.2 magnum and 5.9 magnum use the same oil pan now....they changed to save money...

sounds like you got a 318/340 pan which has the same size front and rear pan seals...

a 360 has the same size front pan seal as the 318/340 but has a smaller rear pan seal like the magnum does...
