Making progress!

Since all my luck is bad luck, I figured that Friday the 13th would be a good day to get the car done, maybe it'd work opposite.

The car moved out of the garage under it's own power. Me & my neighbor spent about an hour beforehand bleeding the brakes, there was a ton of air in the lines. There's still some air in there, it takes a real lot to get it stopped. But it's better than it was!

I'm gonna bleed the brakes again tonight to try to get the pedal up higher and hold a little better.

When I'm standing on the brake, I can bring it up to about 3000 before it starts to pull forward. The car seems like it has a ton more power, but I think that's just because I haven't driven it in so long. It does sound better, and pulls a lot harder. After I warmed it up and broke in the brake shoes I did a few line lock tests... The brakes didn't hold all that well unless I pumped them first. But once I got them to hold I brought it up to 3000 with the line lock on and dropped the hammer. The car nearly got sideways and left two long black strips out in the street.

W00t!
