Never saw one this bad. Not sure you can watch the Facebook video.

My shop neighbor is always finding new and creative ways to explode engines. First time seeing one like this! 427in. Ouch! Yep. if you poke a bunch of pressure inside those things stuff will break. An old customer of mine is into truck pulling. He runs a 2wd truck with an injected, dual turbo'd Rat Motor. pushing 30-40#. He has broken his share of parts.
 
I reckon if you're gonna do it, do it right.
 
**** - I would have thought the head gasket / o-rings would have given up before that would happen. I guess there was porosity or stress risers in the casting.
 
I’m curious what below the decks looked like, if there is a deck left!
