Max life ATF???

Probably the best ATF on the market. Compatible with just about every spec. Also costs more.
 
Is this trans a fresh rebuild or a used one? I wouldn’t do it in a used trans.
 
I used to run regular dextron atf in my 727. However, with a higher stall converter fluid would turn dark and dirty sooner than I liked. Drove this way for about 2 to 3 years changing fluid frequently. Finally got tired and switched to Royal purple atf and all was good. Fluid remained clean much longer. So going to synthetic fluid in a used trans was ok not issues at all.
 
A friend moved up in drag racing over the years and when he got a 632 in a dragster the ATF would go bad quick, needed synthetic and then it would live.

Higher stall builds heat and non synthetic doesn’t handle the heat from that.

DEXRON doesn’t have a letter T in the name.
 
I use wal-mart (Super Tech) ATF + 4.

Easiest to find fluid that actually meets the spec.
