I’m Kay, 29 years old. .. I’ve spent the last year learning how to revive a 73 duster and have found a passion for reviving these mopars. A year ago I couldn’t tell you one thing. Today I wrench on it myself and if I get stuck I figure it out and keep moving on. It’s a 318 car originally with a 340. It sat in the field with the other A body mopars. I said I wanted to get it on the road, but never thought I would be the one leading the entire project. My father in law helped me get started wrenching about 5 months in, I was ready to start doing stuff myself and took those steps to not be so afraid to take something apart. I’ve learned how to revive it by asking questions online and watching videos.

Welcome to FABO Kay, nice ride!
That's a very inspiring story!
There's tons of information on here and great people...don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it!

Welcome! I've watched some of your videos and even subscribed.

Nice.

Those Demon/Dart Sport scoops look like they belong on 73 and up Dusters.

How did the factory ever miss that?

Welcome Kay! Happy to know another Mopar is being saved. If you run into problems or have questions, we're only a few keystrokes away.

Mopar to ya!

Welcome to FABO, it's refreshing to see another young person getting into the hobby.
You'll have fun with the car as you learn to work on it.
Good looking car in decent shape is a perfect candidate for a first timer like yourself!
Enjoy, and don't forget to post your progress/questions...

Just curious, where in Mississippi are you? I used to live on the coast. Good luck with your car. Lots of great, knowledgeable people here. I took out the k frame on my Dart and rebuilt the suspension from the frame rails up with help from people here answering my questions.
