Mellenials go trailer camping...........does not end well

............And of course reckless driving ticket and "Go Fund Me"

I can't tell you how many undersized trucks are used for pulling those type camping trailers. The trailers have a high center of gravity due to the slide out sections. The wind catches them, or they veer onto the shoulder & over correct. The consequences are that they flip onto the side, or worse yet they take the truck & occupants with them for an E ticket ride.

I think I'm going to start a go fund me so I can get body work and paint for my Dart, Oh and I'll also need money to buy a beater so I can go back and forth to buy food, Damn can I go fund my food too!

1/4 ton truck pulling a 6,000 plus camper.
It was going to happen.
That camper, he should of had at least a 3/4 ton truck.
I would not want to pay that fine.
He was running way over-loaded.

.............And not even an equalizer hitch..........

I admit I've pulled "some loads" but they were local and at greatly reduced speed,

I take it from the comment gallery on one video that they "blew some tires" BEFORE the crash. I guess that was not enough of a clue about loading speed and in general, "safety"

But.... GM (or Ford) said my truck was fully capable to pull this RV.
The salesman read it in the brochure. Must be so.
Wife......now what the heck will we do, honey!????

I noticed no sway control or load bars. And a receiver turned upside down, to compensate for the weight.
For what it is worth, our camper is listed at 2750# dry, when hooked to my 1/2 ton truck, it is a handful without the sway and load distribution bars, my wife has easy another 1,000# of crap piled in it.
Hooked just to the ball of my 1 ton, you do notice its there, the air off semi's do not effect it.

Big *** trailer, miniature "truck." Who knows what kind of weight/ cargo

You cannot fix stupid, no matter how hard you try.

That transmission is one happy camper, pardon the pun. No more working overtime. That would have been fun to watch the trans oil temp, if he even had the sense to install a gauge. I'm surprised the trans made the 10,000 mile trip without failure. Not to mention 6000 lbs can be alot for a Dana 44.

Ya last year the Dodge dealer told my cousin that a 1/2 ton v6 diesel would pull thier 24 foot loaded camper no problem over the mountains from Arizona to Detroit. They sure didn’t tell them it would stop. Thank god I talked to her first and they got the 3/4 ton with a Cummins. Probably saved their or someone else’s lives.

Stupid people are going to do stupid things. I used to frequent an Airstream forum and one time someone posted a picture of their Honda Odyssey towing a 34ft Excella. Talk about the tail wagging the dog. He said the van was "rated to tow that amount of weight" and they put an equalizer hitch on it. I hope he never went through what these people did.

Watching these videos I got the feeling I was watching Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker. Pitiful.

Looks like she had someone with cleats go run circles in a yard full of dog **** and then jump up and down on her face.

I wouldn't piss her out if she was on fire.

No wonder he wrecked the camper... so he could get away from sharing such close quarters .

I see those embicles all the time... 70+ pulling trailers... the thing jogging side to side and bouncing away...

If it they only hurt themselves when the trailer takes over, wouldn't that be nice.

"Guardian Angel's looking out for us ehehehe" sure *****...

What's this go fund me ****, go fund yourselves some brains. I feel sorry for the Cat. You need a real truck to pull them damn things.
Did the cat get killed? I didn't watch but like 30 seconds. That was enough stupid for me. Where was the cat? ALL 50 states have laws regarding carrying pets in trailers. You're not supposed to do it.

Worse than coyote ugly.

You're not sposed to have PEOPLE in trailers, either, but people do it LOLOL

The Cat is fine, she was just saying that it is out of it a little cause its home is gone. I felt sorry for the Cat having brain dead owners. Sorry for the confusion.

Shitty little Nissan Frontier truck, ******* dummies. See that **** far too often, gargantuan trailer being dragged by some shitbox toy truck. "Oh, it gets good gas mileage, we don't need a big gas guzzling truck, or a smelly diesel, and it's easy for both of us to drive". How's that working out for you braindead assclowns? Too many people have no clue about pulling a trailer. Years ago a buddy of mine bought an older 16ft travel trailer, he was planning to use a Ford Tempo to tow the damn thing, in the mountains! I asked him if he had even looked at the rear frame area, never mind how small the brakes were on the car. He traded it in for a 1/2 ton the following week.
