Metal gasket sealent -8-3/4

I'm putting my 8-3/4 back togther and those metal gaskets behind the brakes backing plates, do they need sealent? Wouls a holomar do, like Indian head gasket or is a Permatex OK for this?

No sealant needed as far as I know. The differential oil doesn't go past the inner oil seal.

I did not put sealant on mine, no leaks yet.

I use RTV mainly to keep water and dirt Out.

Not necessary, but I don't think it's gonna hurt anything either.
