Mini tub and backseat

Finished my mini tub on my 65 Valiant a couple months back using the split wheel wells.

For those of you that don't have a fold down backseat like in a Barracuda, what mods are you doing to the back seat after a mini tub to make it fit? Early A of course (63-66 Dart or Valiant), The bottom portion of mine fits, but the bracing in the "back" does not. Just wanted to get some ideas from others before I start butchering my seat back. Thanks!

Break out the snips and narrow the seat back

I think the parts that are in the way are the main bracing. Gonna take more than tin snips to cut that stuff.

Ok.. just a figure of speech. Got a seawall, cutoff wheel, or at the very least a hack saw? But the solution is to narrow the back of the seat

Thanks. I saw that one too. That's a newer Abody. Seat frame is considerably different on an Early A.
