Modern heater/ac controls?

So I have a dart that has had all the heater box and linkage taken out of it, Before I go throwing it all back in, I was wondering if it would be possible to upgrade the controls to a modern electric dial setup used on new cars?
The car itself is going to need to be rewired already, so now is time to decide.

Could I get some modern controls somewhere? or could i just pull the heater and ac outta a junkyard car and make it fit and work?

Any thoughts? Ideas?

Thank you, that post is very informative. I don't know if me buying a wrecked car would work for me, due to space and cash flow.But definately helpful.
I think i'll end up just going to a junk yard and seeing what I can find.
 
I did not follow the above link, but check out Classic Auto Air. They were helpful on the phone when I called about my project.
