What push in breathers are you guys running on your cast valve covers? The instructions call for breathers with .750 dia. I can't seem to find them in the Summitt book. Thanks Jeff

Jeff, Search the summit site under the brand "spectra" when you use the key word "Breather" It will bring up some options for you. I am running this one http://store.summitracing.com/partd...4294888301+400068+4294888284+115&autoview=sku

Its a Spectre Industries part number 4284 if the link does not work, you can search that out. It's available with the tube and without. Good luck! If you need any help just let me know.

The hole can be enlarged to a decent size. JFYI.

I just jacked in breathers, round, push in style. Got this bucket load..... http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch.asp?N=700+4294888301+4294888300+115+4294888299

This is a dead ringer for the MoPar one minus the logo with gromet included; http://store.summitracing.com/partd... or MOR~68781 or TRD~9169&Ntk=&rsview=sku&Ns=

Theres tooo many to choose from. That Moroso was probably the best deal as far as inexpensive price tags go.

Or you could do something different, but yet simply stated; http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=MRG-9815&N=700+115&autoview=sku

Spectra has plugs.

That 3.4 hole is for the PCV???

Typically, yes. It's kind of a strange deal. The only grommet's that are shown (Or that I can find) that fit the Mopar Perf valve covers are the actual MP grommets. And they have a .750 hole diameter. I will include a pic of my engine compartment to show what I am currently using until I can find a suitable replacement. I am using the breather I posted above (Because it has the small PCV .750 hole) but I wish I could find one with a larger "nipple" on it to connect to my air cleaner (Which is WAY bigger).

Not to hi-jack this thread, because I am sure it will help the original poster, jefflock....But what did you guys use that have the MP valve covers and an original style air cleaner? Those MP valve covers are so thick and like I said, the only grommets that I found fit, were the actual MP ones and they have the small .750 I.D.

This is what I did on the 400 for the air cleaner one at the rear of the cover.

I'm goin to have to snap a picture later of the OE gromets used with the OE style PCV valve in the MNP covers. The gromets do not exactly fit in like there home, but they do work without problems.

391,
Does that breather have a pvc valve contained inside of it? Jeff
