Mopar Question - Non A-body

I'm looking to replace the shifter in My 33 Plymouth Coupe. It has a 727 Torqueflite, and the current shift mechanism is very sloppy. -- I' like to keep the Nostalgic look. Currently I have a Hurst lever, with a 8 ball knob. --- What are My options, other than Lokar ?

with a 33' you should also be on the H.A.M.B. also The H.A.M.B. they might have a good solution for you

is it shifted by cable or rod?

Fix the slop in it? modify it for bushings or weld up areas that have worn down?
Look at truck floor shifters for automatics. You may need to shorten the stick, but they look sort of like what you have.
