More detail in swaping in a 318 in place of /6 in 74 dart

I read the tech archive about doing the v8 swap, but am needing more info. I have a 74 swinger and am looking at taking the 318 out of a 71 dart. I know the center links are different, and am wondering if the slant 6 center link will work with a 318? What else will I need, I know there are v8 K members for the spool mount type, but would the schumacker mounts work with the 318, or 340/360 only?

When I swapped my 74 Dart Sport from a slant 6 to a 360, I was able to reuse my center link. Just make sure your 318 has a center sump oil pan which it should have if its coming out of a 71 Dart. Schumaker makes mounts for the 318 also.
