moving axle one inch backwards

-
really? It is not an issue in geometry? Because this would be the easiest way at all rathe than drillin a hole in the perch and
No different than adding longer shackles. The angle is changed but that's what shackles do. Their angle changes as the springs move.

There is a lot to think about, but moving back an inch is not going to make it hook better, it will be worse. Dart already has a longer wheelbase, another inch makes it longer still.
thats probably true about look and hook. But 28" plus Diameter doesnt fit in the stock wheel opening. one inch back gives me the possibility to mount up to 30" wheels.

On my spring perches there is a hole in front & rear of the center hole. I just used the front hole. It was only an 1/2 inch difference.

I moved mine back around 3 yrs ago to get clearance on my 31" slicks, i redrilled the shackle mounts, i also mounted the shocks vertically at the same time and i had a new driveshaft.
