Yeah, i think a first gen hemi would be perfect for it.
Then it would really ''haul the mail''.

Very cool mail truck. Here is the one in the link up above.

That glass looks to be all flat. Shouldn't be any trouble getting what you need cut. Do it right and you'll be glad you did.

yeah , the glass is no big deal , but the rubber gaskets around them i think is going to be hard to get .

So i take it there's no driver's seat?
You just stand up and drive it?
And it's got a 110 mph speedo, i would love to see it go that fast. lol
Cool!

no , no . there "was" a driver seat , but it is missing .

you would love to see it go 110 ? if i put in a hemi , it might go faster :D

well i got my RV , but barely . the woman was'nt returning calls to my friend or myself . i was taking the tractor down the road to do some work for a friend and what did i see ? a bunch of people around the RV . i stopped in and told the woman that i had been calling her because i wanted to buy it . she told me that they were pulling the generator and going to haul it to the junkyard , but if i wanted it i could have it for the $250 .

i have googled trying to find what engine size might be in it , but apparently they came out with anything from a 318 to a 440 . can anyone tell what engine this might be from the pics ? can anyone tell me where to find the numbers on the block ?

its a 1977 dodge sportsman with 64,664 miles on it .

That is a small block. look on the left side of the block under the exhaust manifold it will have 318 or 360 cast in the side. It also might be on that white sticker on the valve cover (driver side)

thanks rebel , i'll check the block . the white sticker shows the tune up specs , but i did'nt think to look for the cid .
