need all the brackets for 69 ....alt/ps (not sure what i'm looking for) maybe starter/alt /ps pump
bell housing covers ...ect.
what do the valve covers look like, should it have a windage tray ..i did see a set of adj.rockers but i have a set of reg 340 coming

It should have a windage tray. If you are running a hydraulic cam, I don't see the need for adjustable rockers.

so bought this today 69 273 for parts for my 340 oe build ....i really just bought it for the bolts .....ha wtf
i need valve covers ,i know these are close ,someone said i can extend the wire loom or something would love to know what else
i have a correct timing cover/waterpump need the alt bracket. is the oil pan the same fuel pump drive ?,themostat housing ...its pitted some might find better

Valve covers look close enough to be 340. Looks like it was in an early A, 64-66, by the motor mounts. Probably the better 273 shortblocks. 68-69 273's the pistons should be zero deck. Special timing cover with the timing marks cast in. Same damper as 340. Did you get the drivers side exhaust manifold also?

I allread got the block and heads and crank
Heads are o with 202s
Got a windage tray
Intake exhaust rocker arms push rods
Timing cover water pump dist carb air cleaner
Dist drive motor mounts have a oil pan
Not sure if its the same have a couple of different pulleys have a trans bell driveshaft
K frame disks 8 3/4 going for 323 posi monday
So didn't have any bolts or brackets...
So figured i would find a core to strip it and sell off the parts

Be aware that 340 & 360 main cap bolts are longer than 273 & 318 bolts. Just sayin'.
