My 71 Demon

-
Your really movin' on with this project and wondered when you actually started working on this build and the timeline?

I bought the car in June but really didn't get started for until end of July. There was a lot of setup, I had to get a storage unit for the stuff that was already in my garage. My dad came down and helped me outfit my garage with a larger compressor, extra lights, and electrical outlets. So I'm roughly 6 months in.

That's great! At least it looks like your sticking with it and not losing interest. I know that happens with me....allot.

Now that the engine work was about done I got a little distracted and started doing some body work. I say distracted but I what I really mean is, I was tired of looking at these huge body panel boxes in my dinning room. The rear valance needed replaced and the passenger side rear quarter panel had holes, so they had to go. I meticulously drilled out all the spot weld to preserve the substructure and brackets. The rear valance was such a large piece I had to continuously cut away sections while I was drilling out the welds.

Also to go was the rear quarter. Cutting this out was much easier than the valance. I needed to tack it into place first because the rear corner fits under the valance.
