Great job. Glad you did the Burnt Orange. Everybody that See's it on my car Love's it.
Yea I really love it it's such a cool color I was between so many different colors and just had to do that one.

Thanks for giving a 75 the love it deserves.

So many people overlooked and threw away anything newer than 73 that now you hardly see them around.
I agree. I love the later darts and dusters most of them have been parted out to restore 70-72s it's a shame.

2nd coat of clear on I think it looked shinier with just one lol. I may have to wet sand it and hit it one more time. The 2nd coat went on almost matte looking.

But I got my fenders put on they are not lined up I gotta get some more of the little clips that the bolts go into I'm missing several. I'm missing several bolts too haha guess that's what happens when you leave one unassembled for 16 years.

Does this mean your not gonna repaint the engine compartment.
No I'm still deciding I haven't tightened anything up I just wanted to see it with fenders again lol. I think I'm gonna give it another shot of clear. I think I'm gonna do 3 more coats in sequence and wait a little less time in between coats.

Petey was the dog on Lil Rascals. Spanky, Alphalfa, Buckwheat, Froggy, Darla,,,,etc. It was a TV show that was old as dirt when I was a kid, and I'm 62! LOL. Check em out on You Tube sometime. I think Petey was a Pit.....but he was a solid white dog with one black eye.

Oh yes!!! I remember that I watched the little rascals lol I just didnt remember the name of that dog. Lol

Been way to long since I have had a chance to work on my car. Between all the cleanup from the storm and home repairs and all the overtime I been working I haven't got anything done in the month of june until today. I didnt get a great amount done but progress nonetheless. Got all my brake lines ran and flared. Put the master on just to run the lines its coming back off to be bench bleed. Looks good I'm happy with the lines it wasnt to bad bending it myself. I bought a roll of that spiral protector that goes on the outside of the line around the bends and firewall and completely forgot to use it haha oh well I'm not taking it back out.

Little at a time. Looking good.
Yea I got a bunch of work done in a short time I may then at the end of may we got that storm that blew a bunch of trees down on my property so the whole month of june been working on that. Plus working 6-7 days a week lol the overtime right now at work is crazy. With this whole covid crap they cant keep people and they arent hiring new employees. I guess people would rather get paid that 800 a week unemployment

 Looks nice, and it looks like you used the copper clad brake lines. That stuff holds up pretty good, and polishes nice if you're easy with it. Where did you buy the spiral spring wrap? I've asked about it at the parts house before, and they looked at me like I had 3 heads! LOL

I got it on Ebay from inline tube. I got it on a package deal it comes with the copper line the spring wrap and all the fittings. I cant believe I forgot to use the spring wrap. :BangHead: lol
I havent gotten my roof fixed yet. I got a temporary fix in it now but I'm still waiting on the insurance it's been a nightmare and expected

Got a little progress done yesterday. I started reassembling the engine bay. I got the bulkhead and all the wiring back thru the firewall. Got my hood release hooked back up then while I was testing it the cable broke :BangHead::rofl:
Guess I gotta buy one of them now! Lol

Got the steering column done this evening this was converted from a column shift. I cut the park-1st indicator off and the shifter hole filled it with job weld and sanded it all smooth. Painted it the same color as the dash. I have a new(old)steering wheel I'm gonna use too I'm just gonna wait till everything is aligned to put it on I wanna make sure its straight. I'm gonna paint it the same color as the dash and column as well.
Also got the wiper motor spruced up some.

Looking good but I always feel so bad for your Dodge truck in the background. The salt roads don't do it any justice..

Yea I agree. She is gonna get some loving once the dart is running. Hopefully next spring. I'm gonna replace the fenders doors rockers hood and bed. Basically the entire body minus the cab. Haha I'm gonna. Then later after all that's done I have a 5.9 360 magnum I'm gonna have it freshened up and swap the engines out. I'm wanting to do a turbo 5.9 magnum in that truck. And I'm thinking about painting it the same color as my dart. Just so they match. Idk yet that's a ways in the future.

Working slow now this heat is brutal. But I'm getting a little at a time done. I will work for a few minutes and get in the ac and drink a couple bottles of water. But I managed to get a start on my floorpan on the passenger. Got the back side welded and started shaping it. Got a lot more pounding to do on it but its break time again.

I got a call from the machinist today. I got all excited at first but then he told me that going .030 over wasn't going to be enough I'm gonna have to go .040 so I went by there and got my pistons and my intake it's done. I'm gonna have to order new pistons and bring them to him. I watched him work on it for about 2 hours he got 4 of the cylinders done they are bored out he showed me where it didnt clean all the way out at .030. It was right at the ridge at the top of the cylinder I guess it was out of round or has some taper in that spot. Hopefully I can sell my .030 over pistons and get the new ones soon. I dont have the money right now to order a new set without selling the other ones first. I wish I did I'd keep the .030 over ones for my next 360 project.

I got the .040 pistons ordered they have been shipped as soon as I get them I will drop them off at the machinist and hopefully he will be able to finish up soon the heads and intake are done. I still gotta order my new lifters. Should be starting on engine reassembly soon. I'm probably gonna start a new tread just for the engine assembly maybe even do a video playlist on it. All you guys making these videos got me wanting to do some.

Got my new pistons in the mail I am gonna take them and drop them off at the machinist tomorrow. Hopefully I will get my engine back in the next couple weeks. I also picked up two 14 inch tires for the front. They are smaller than I was wanting but they are like brand new and I got them both for 60 bucks. They are 185/65s I had planned on running 205/70s but for 60 bucks I will run them till I need to replace them then get the size I need. I found some 15s I was gonna get today too but there was a bad wreck on the interstate and I couldn't go get them today. They are 195/60/15s for 40 bucks I will run them too they look brand new as well. So basically getting a new set for 100 bucks
