Frontline needs to be applied on dawgs that have oil on their skin. You can wash them but wait a week or so before putting on the stuff. I have 3 outdoor free running dawgs and the most active seems to be itchy a lot. Also see live ticks crawling on her sometimes but they do not bite.

I may try the dawn thingy.

Yeah, this thread has me scratching but it also may be from the barn swallows I have nesting on my front porch. Mites are a real pain.
