Out of the blue today I received a call from a video production company inquiring about using my Duster again for another Sheets commercial. If everything falls into place the commercial will be shot at the Sheetz gas station in Kernersville, N.C. next Thursday the 15th of April. I am awaiting a callback confirmation, but as of now all looks good for my Duster to once again shine under the glare of the bright lights!!!!!!!!! :love7:

Perfect timing eh? LOL.

Watch what you wish for......just playin.

Make sure you pressure them to let you do a burnout in the video.

Im going to try to but I am not sure that they will film me doing a burnout, but either way I want to heat the meats in the parking lot!! :burnout:

That video is way too cool.

I'm just wondering if they chose your car because they thought it would fit the mold of the dude's character because it was a mopar or would they have done the same with a crumaro or wusstang if they could have?

I do not know why they picked my car. Originally i was told that there were 25 cars submitted for the shoot and that they liked my car. I'm just happy that they picked an A body Mopar instead of a Ford or a Chebbie. Long live Mopar A Bodies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I say go for it and WHOOO RAY!!!!!!! Get that MoPar in the spot light baby!
The car looks good and not over done in any one direction in the ad. The only hint of performance is the partial hood shot and the 340 badge that would suggest that the fuel is good for a performance car. Gotta think symbolism to those who don't know about anything, just the visiual cue's and there impliactions of what they see, besides the humor in the commercial.

awesome..next thing you know...you'll win a first place trophy!

Cool and Aloha!

Pretty cool. They're paying you something for the use of your car, right? These guys have production budgets for that. Also, make sure they're insured in case of any damage. You don't want some fat actor climbing in and scuffing your sill plates with his dirty boots, or scuffing your seats with his keys or something.

I've had lots of filming done in my business, and that should all be spelled out in the release you sign.

Here is the link to the 1st commercial shoot. This commercial was shot in April of 2009:

Wow, hope someone can post it here again. Great, happy for you. Hope they pay well..., or you should at least get coupons for free gas.

Well, I got the confirmation call today that the Gas Station Chain Sheets is going ahead and wants my car for their new commercial. I will be getting an e-mail either tomorrow or Wednesday about the time on Thursday that I will need to be there to shoot the spot. Lights, Camera, Action!! I will post the time on here if anyone out here who lives near Kernersville North Carolina and wants to head out to watch the shoot. I will also take my camera and get lots and lots of pictures of the shoot and post them here on FABO for all to see. The commercial will probably be released about 6 weeks after the date of the shoot. That's how long it took for the last one to be released and it will be linked to here. Thanks for everyone's support and I hope my FABO stickers on the side of the car show in the spot for EVERYBODY to see and drool over !!!!!!!!!!

Sweet she gonna get a big head from all this attention. Heck she may need her own garage stall after all this. Catered just the way she likes it. Bottles of 10w30 plates of spark plugs.

LOL!!!!! My wife has given her the name "Dusteen" after the Chrysler Fury "Christine" because I spend so much $$ into getting new parts to replace old ones and the fact that the car is a TV star now!!. She made the crack tonight that the car gets rubbed more than she does. I told her that is true but that she is not a star on television. HA!!! HA!!! HA!!!

Location of shoot is next to this restaurant in Kernersville, N.C.

East Coast Wings
800 North Main Street
Kernersville, NC 27284

The Gas station does not have a physical address as of yet but is located next to this place. I still do not have a time but will post as soon as I know.

Filming is tomorrow (Thursday) I need to be there with my car @ 2:30 P.M. I am not sure if anyone other than the people involved with the commercial will be allowed on site during the set up and filming scenes. I think there will be security. I got a call sheet today and it lists that there will be security. I will be taking pictures and posting them here. I am looking forward to the 2nd commercial with my car. This will be a Blast!!!!!
