My Duster was featured in a television commercial

No Sheetz! That's really cool. The best part is your Duster. But I wouldn't let that dude eat all that crap in my car.

He was a paid actor and he did not eat ANYTHING in the car. as a matter of fact they were behind the car pushing it up to the pump wearing rubber gloves. They did not start the car at all, it was pushed around the gas station lot.
 
We saw a truck while traveling and on the back it said"follow me I got the sheetz" so now I know what its like to have the sheetz. Really cool thing to have your car on T.V.
 
thats cool man, but if it was me i wouldv'e asked if i could be the guy in the commercial... but im a ham so ya know lol. nice duster man

Here are some more pictures. The Side Stripes was put on my car after it was painted in 2004 and the guy who painted it put it up too high. I will be replacing the stripe soon.

looked better black imo. white stripe. yeaaa. we got sheetz in wv. shitty service. how much you get to do the commercial?? maybe sheetz up here can feature my 68 dart
 

I was going to paint the car Plum Crazy. Wife liked the Blue with White Stripe so that's the direction I went. I only got paid $250.00 and got a speeding ticket one mile before the exit but it was the novelty of having my car featured in the commercial. I also have pictures of the commercial shoot to add to my picture history of the car. I do not use Sheetz that much because there is not one near my home but the commercial is getting a ton of airplay here in the Raleigh Area and everywhere I go with the car people turn their heads to look at the car and at the cruise ins, I get bombarded with questions.I answered an ad on Craigslist looking for a classic car for a commercial shoot and they picked my Duster out of 25 cars.
 
fricking sweet. ehh. whipped aint cha. lol. blue aint bad. yea plum crazy would been sweet. actually there all sweet. mopar fan producers i guess. just lucked out. FAMOUS. uh oh.

No not whipped, but she bought me the car for my birthday in 1999 and it was in poor condition. We have an agreement that we made when she gave me the car. If I let her pick out the color combination, I could spend to restore the car as I see fit. To this day I continue to spend money on this vehicle and she never beetchs about the many,many,$$$$$$$ that I have spent into this car. That tradeoff works for me. the car is a nice color. :-D
