Remember this is a fun daily not a drag car and I am new to Mopar. The idea is a fun Daily with stock heads(option of swapping or working later). My car is a 67 4 door Valiant W Rebuilt Non Commando 273 with 2 barell and stock rebuilt Torqueflite Automatic.I already have a 2.5 inch dual exhaust with crossover. Ive been doing some searching and this is what Ive come up with.Manifold-Eddy 2176.Carb-Eddy 600 Manual choke.Cam- Comp XE 256h.Cloyes double roller.Stock manifolds(Headers later)3.55 or 3.73 Rear gears.Shift kit.Petronix in cap electronic ignition.Sound ok to you Moparians?
Key point, it doesnt have to be nasty just fun .I want it to sound good and excelerate nicely.I already like it but want some more kick .Thanks Guys

Sounds like a plan. Headers and a higher stall converter will help a lot. I have a 273 commando in my duster

273 Commando - 1965
Cam: 268/276 duration and 429/444 lift
Edelbrock D4B intake / Edelbrock 600 Performer Carb
Pertronix Ignitor
Hooker Headers
2.5" Dual Exhaust / Flowmaster Super 44
727 auto / Shift Kit
10" 3000 TCI converter
8 3/4 - 3.55 - SureGrip

Here is a little clip of it running.

You might consider a solid lifter cam, 67's had adjustable rockers and I think you'd get more bang for the buck out of a solid setup. The down side is a periodic adjustment. I have a 67 formula S and it was not a big problem, and that motor made power!
