My son Michael has been going to shows with me for a while and I knew he had caught the Mopar bug when he had his pic taken with Mr. Norm at Carlisle in front of Mr. Norm's Demon. So we were lucky to pick this Demon up. Missing engine and Tranny, however I have a 340 already lined up for him and we have several complete Darts we can pull parts from. 340 auto car that we'll be converting to 4 spd, car also has A/C 8)

cool! are you gonna restore it or just drop in a drivetrain for now

Not sure what he want's to do. It probally wouldn't be ready before next spring anyways. I think he's gonna change the blue guts to white. There was a Petty Blue Demon sunroof car that was really nice with white interior at Carlisle this past year that caught his eye. We do have a running 318 car we could drop the running gear in and go, the 340 I have is a shortblock. He's just always gravitated towards A bodies when we attend shows......smart kid I guess.

Congrats on the Cover in Mopar Muscle, that sure is a beautiful Barracuda. :thumleft:

Very Nice. I was keeping an eye on that car.

Yeah, the price wasn't too hateful. I think it ending on a Monday night at midnight helped. The guy my son bought it from said over 85 people had it in their watching section. We've got all the parts that the car is missing, and ya don't see to many Petty Blue Demon's....at least not original one's.

That's one cool lookin Demon 8) I had a 72 Demon that I was going to put back together but I ended up selling it. Got to many projects going on.By the looks of your signature you a pretty nice project going on too. Aren't car projects fun?!!! :D

Hey another Demon. It looks great. I wish mine had started out that good. So when is this young fella going to show up on the forum. Or are you afraid we will pollute his mind. LOL

No, you guys are cool! :salut: He makes appearances on MoparNuts as LawnDarts...a subtle referance to our '71 and '72 dart Lawn Ornaments. I keep trying to get to him to change his name to Demon Seed.
I'll tell him you are asking for him. :thumrigh:

AWESOME another DEMON! Look out you cuda freaks. We're catching up!
You know how long the driveshaft is in that thing? My arms not long enough to reach my driveshaft from here.

I was watching that one. There is another Petty Blue Demon on there now and I recently talked to a guy with two petty Blue Demons, plus I know of one other, three of them are GSS cars. Anyway. I think that color is perfect for a Demon. Good luck with the project.

Good score! :thumleft:
When i was in school a friend of mine had a 71 340 Duster that was Petty blue with white interior and white stripes,it was a sharp looking car.
Not long after my friend sold it, the kid that bought it managed to wrap it around a telephone pole!
Don't know what became of the car after that, just seemed to disappear.

Hey joe, It looks as though you wraped your dart around a tree by the lookes of it in your sig.

That is one very nice demon. Like was said before, I wish my car was in that good of shape when I started mine!

Did I hear you say you have parts cars? Got any front fenders that would fit a 7T1 dart?
