ya know, I found myself sitting here reading every single post. Most often we skip to the last page or skim through the pages looking for what we need but it seems like posts like this just make you smile and be proud and thankfull to be an american. We often find ourselves bit***** and moaning and complaining about the prices of things and how we had to work an extra 4 hrs today or how it snowed last night. Its posts like this that make us want to sit back, take a minute out of our day just to say...."thank you" and be proud that you raised a son who is willing to do whatever it takes to keep you and I free. I would like to say thank you to YOU for raising such an acceptable person in todays society.

Slappy, please extend our greatful 'THANK YOU' to him and all of his unit for their unselfish service. It's a strong military that preserves our freedoms and our way of life.

Tell him Thank you and welcome home from an old retired Amry guy. Glad he made it home before his "Veterans Day". My son is still there, living under the stars, eating the lovely MRE's. He should be returning in Aug 2011.
