Mystery Country Woman Singer - Who Is She?

Today somehow I ran across this video from the, Turnpike Troubadours - Mean Old Sun



In the video there are lots of photos of old country musicians, and a lot of them have there names on the picture frames, but not this lady.

At 1:36 - 1:37 in the video you can see her portrait. Who is she? I wondered if she is Bobbie Gentry, but I have no idea.

I am not really into country music, but this is a snappy tune in my book.

hahaa! for sure. she was born in the teens and actively recording in the 40's

but oddly, she was more "known" as a jazz singer, though she did all genre of music. one super talented individual.
