Not me. When I'm in a masochistic mood, I try to order something from NapaOnline. Search for a front brake line for my '67 GTX and get responses for fan belts. Search for a front wheel bearing and get an overhaul kit for the rear differential. I have no idea what Napa knows, apparently they don't either.

In this town the local little NAPA has degenerated into the non-experienced teen agers who don't know anything.

You are absolutely right about their website. Written by the same Chinese teenagers who wrote Phlakebook Marketpharce

I wonder if I painted Duster like the liberty mobile if Liberty would throw me a few bucks? I know mine is not a '72. But I don't think public would care. The "Recycler" lettering is getting old and boring.

Just a dumb Tuesday thought.

Might have better luck if you had a stuffed emu in the passenger seat....

....and some old-skool cool shades....
Well, I went ahead and emailed a marketing firm that Liberty Mutual's website listed that is handling advertising. 1st asking if they have already engaged in performance racing sponcership (I'm never the first to think of any ideas. Lol.) And/or if media director's department would be interested in exploring sponcership avenue?

If something does arise? I'll certainly be looking for advise on contract writing and negotiations.

It's a long shot. But better than trying nothing?

when that kind of stuff comes up for parts lookup, it means we can not get it. i work at napa and it happens at the commercial desk also. when trying to look up a part, try the chrysler oem number or go to rock auto to get a number to try to cross over.

not sure how you are looking stuff up but frt brake hose for 67 belvedere is 36611 and frt wheel brgs are br2 and br6.

I thought about that move, as My '72 needs a total job/resto, and I am NOT attached to the OE Sherwood Green....rolling billboard & stuffed emu,lol..

I'll let you if anything moved. I'm guessing not. But hey. If the money is right I'll run down the track with a stuffed Emu in the passenger seat.

I never said I couldn't eventually find it, it's just that the search results contain so much irrelevant stuff it takes forever to sift through it all. In fact the second item in a search for 'front brake hose' is 'A/Trans Seal, (Rubber), Clutch Piston - Front Outer'. How is that relevant? Getting to be more like Ebay all the time.

Napa is generally the same cheap china **** you can buy anywhere else, but marked up a BUNCH. Just bought a cap and rotor for a tbi 350 chevy, from the local napa store, was supposedly "Delphi" brand. Shop cost was nearly 60 bucks, the cap was a peice of crap, aluminum terminals, some of which were pressed in crooked, rotor had zero identification markings. Went to rock auto, got a NGK branded setup. It was 1/3 the price, even paying shipping. Brass terminals, very nice parts. Napa was better quality than most 20 years ago, but now its china **** at a 90% markup.

Napa turned to Crapa.
Got to be the worst website of any business in America. I mean it's so bad you cannot find anything you're better off going as specific as you can with Google and putting NAPA Auto Parts at the end of it to get some kind of usable link. Hell when I go to the Napa down here I'll be lucky if anyone's even at the counter anymore bunch of people waiting and looking around for to be helped and employees are in the back playing grab ***
