Need advice on coilover mounts
I have a set of RMS upper control arms and a k-frame from Warp Performance, this k-frame uses the stock lower control arm in the stock location. I have the shock towers tied in to the horizontal bars from the cage. The bars are approx 2" to the outside of the stock mounting hole. My question is, is there any benefit or drawbacks to mounting the coilovers in a more vertical position instead of in the stock location? At this point it will be just as easy to mount them directly to the cage bars which would make them pretty much straight up and down vs leaned in at the top. Also, does anyone have any feedback on these k-frames? This is a race only application and will never be on the street.
