Need Help identifying 360 Heads

I have a 318 engine which is currently built, I believe that some mods have been made to the 318, because a spare set of 318 heads and intake came with motor. How would I be able to identify the heads while the engine is together. Is the casting number under the valve pans going to identify the heads. If so what denotes 318 or 360?

need the casting numbers......that denotes what they are...

under the valve covers is generally where they are

Sometimes the casting number is under the head. It can be seen with a mirror. Located in the middle of the head under the the heat crossover.
