242/4 71 may be a date code and shift code for the casting.
Might be a replacement M/C.

If's it's bore is bigger than 15/16, - diss-regard, and keep looking . jmo
There's one for sale on Ebay . The ad claims it's for a 1975-77 Dodge W100 with power brakes. The C after the part # indicates the mfg company Centric. Hope this info solves the mystery.
The bore diameter would be best to know, that's what matters. I put a 1.0" unit in My '64 GT to go with the pin-style 11.75" brakes, they are hard to come by FYI. I haven't run the brakes "track-hard" to find the "mush-level" yet.
thanks. i will do more investigation. maybe pull piston out and see what size it is.
rick_s. you were right. it is the same one on ebay as mine. thank you. it fits a multitude of sins. b,c,e,f,m,j bodies and trucks. bore size is 1.0313. i will just put it back in the box and save it or list it for cheaper than what ebay wants for it. thanks you very much. rick w.
