Hi, I was given a box of assorted demon dash parts and was tasked with assembling them, could anyone give me some insight as to which ones are correct for a demon and what year? there seems to be a lot of variation in the styles from chrome to woodgrain, also, there is a speedometer included that has the demon logo in the middle, which I cannot find any insight on online. Does anyone know where this speedometer came from?

That Demon logo speedo is cool but not factory that I'm aware of

what year Demon?

pic 1 and 3 are 71 and earlier (no seat belt or EGR). Pic 2 is 75-76 (Seatbelt and EGR). pic 4 is 72-73 maybe also 74? (Seatbelt, no EGR)

Metric speedos were not a thing in Canada in 71 and 72......I believe it was a European thing.
Ok. I bought a metric speedo like the ones in this thread a couple years ago from Slantsixdan, just assumed they were Canadian!

Thanks for the info! I have the metal tubs and PCB for a 71 and a 72 dash, so Ill probably be using 1 or3 for the 71 and 4 for the 72.

so you have one with the demon logo on it? Was this a canadian speedo?

No, sorry, I posted confusingly. I said earlier I'd never seen that as an OEM thing.
This is correct.
Here is one of the NOS export ones I have.

I thought mine only went to 200. I'll have to look. I was just stoked it didn't say kmh.

That said, I doubt I can get a gear to make it read 60 at 60mph

Slant cars got 200.
I could have gotten some of them as well. Many years ago I got a lot of Later Duster and Dart Sport NOS from Ron Adair (Great Lakes NOS)
At the time it was cheap.

Dude, you're as far from Canada as possible, lol

Thanks for clarifying that! Now...about that speedo gear....

I wonder if we could convert that speedo to be MPH instead of KPH. would love to have that in my duster in MPH.
