7 68, so very possibly used during the 1969 model year which began the next month.

Very cool, thanks. Next question. Are the frames/foam consistent for other models? Could I put Dart covers on those Barracuda seats?

Yes, depending on the year of the Dart.

Not sure on the foam, may have to modify at least or buy new.

Hello MD68 4 years later, LOL.. Did you ever figure out what exactly those seats were? I've got a set with the same 2942529 Tag and am curious. A google search led me here, not much other info on the net.
