Hello everyone, Im restoring a 1973 Dodge dart sport. The engine is a 440 with -hooker super competition headers 3 1/2 hole diameter- going through the wheel well. At first I thought of getting the same headers but I don't know the code for them and there are so many on summit.

I was wondering what is available online that goes through the fender wells . for now the old rusty hooker headers are not giving me any problems with tire space turning, ground clearance, spark plugs access, or steering but headers need to be replace.

another thing, the ONLY problem with the headers I have is that they are so close to the master cylinder lines that they heat up. I wonder if there is another master cylinder with higher line plugs or headers that avoid them. thanks guys.:-D.

Here is the part number from Jegs for the headers, 520-5205 Or you can go to
race-mart.com its 5205HKR.

bob shingler: Thanks for the help, i didn't knew they had something like that, will look into that.

I also read that you can bolt everything up one bolt by skipping the bottom set of bolts on the master cylinder but don't know much about that. Im going to do my little research on that, if available (just in case).

DusTed: thank you very much times a million for the info on my headers. jegs saids it goes through the fender wells. I will take a picture of the engine and post it up soon. is there any other headers that will fit in my dart sport.
