Hey all Can anyone recomend a good shiftkit for a 67 727, I want a firm 1-2 but it must retain the 1st gear band{engine braking} function I have used the b&m kits with the "strip" setup and love the 1-2 shift but hate low gear coast has anyone used the "RV"-Towing" setup does it have low gear engine braking and is the shift firm?
Thanks
Scott
ALSO does the Rv-Towing setup Retain the Part throttle kickdown? as i am adding a 70-up PTK to the trans~

Transgo TF-2. It's actually considered a reprogramming kit vs. a shift kit. If the VB is already equipped with part-throttle kickdown or you are adding it, it will be retained. The TF-2 is comprehensive and you can set things for whatever level of performance you desire.

What's a Part Throttle Kickdown?

Cars without a PTK module on the valve body require you mash the throttle for kickdown. With part-throttle kickdown you can achieve it with, well, part throttle - though speed and load still play a factor.
