need to apologize

for the way i carried on a few days ago. i suffer from a few different mental illness, and every now and then they get the best of me. to any who were offended by my antics, please accept my apology......

I missed the thread that whatever happened on did in fact happen but I can say that fabo is a forgiving site "community" I too have slipped up before and caused a stir but I took a cool down period...talked it over with the mod,sent out personal apology's to the people involved and a public apology.....you did the right thing !

my head doc gave me a rather blunt title, a sick son of a *****......

You need the T-shirt that says "I tried anger managemnent, but it pissed me off." LOL.

On a serious note.
Have you considered some good counceling one on one with a really GOOD psychiatrist?

You can go through the motions with a cheap, state appointed one or get one with a killer resume and lot's of recommendations, but they are NOT cheap as I have some family members who finally got the help they needed once they got away from the "Mickey mouse" therapists.

when i lived in az i had a real good head doc. i have not found a replacement up here yet, the few i have seen were far too timid to deal with me, never mind the fact that i just was not comfortable with them. my doc in az said he would be willing to carry on therapy with me over the phone, but it just aint the same. i have been dealing with this for the better part of 30 years now, the first 15 or so i was just labeled a pi..ed off young man. seems like all most docs want to do is throw meds at me, and i have yet to find any that i can tolerate. i have tried just about every mood stabilzer there is, and can not tolerate them. and without a mood stabilzer, anti depessants can be dangerous for me as all they trigger is rage......

I don't know what happened but it takes a big person to admit that they were possibly wrong about something and then apologize about it. No one is perfect and we all have our little "flair" ups. I am a very calm person and hold alot inside but please beware when I have had enough! The new year has begun so don't look back. Hope you have a great year!
