Need to vent wth is wrong with ppl

Hey guys I just want to vent with you guys. Let me start by saying that I think that I am a good person and I try to live my life with meaning and purpose. I live by the philosophy love one another I feel that love is contagious and spreads like wildfires. It not necessarily a religious thing altho I am a religious person I just try to treat others with love and respect and try to be understanding to ppls circumstance. That being said there was a member on here that posted about his son that was in a accident and his wife was pregnant and his story really touched me and I felt compelled to try help. If anyone on here follows any of my threads you know I ain't rich lol I am trying to build my car with 2 pennies so to speak lol I have three kids of my own my wife is a stay at home mom and homeschools out 3 children so my income is our only income. I make decent money for this area I work hard and work overtime and make it work we pay our bills and survive. But I feel that your financial situation shouldny affect your ability to help someone out. Even if I couldn't financially help someone I would do everything I could even if it ment being emotionally supportive and sharing his post. Anyway back to the point so I donated what I could and shared his GoFundMe on my Facebook as well as some mopar groups I'm on. And what this one guy committed back to me mad me so mad and sick at the same time. How the heck can someone be so insensitive and stupid and rude. One side of me just said love this guy he needs jesus he needs a friend. The other side of me wanted to beat the brakes off him. And what really pissed me off is I committed back and I was nice and respectful and decent and apparently the admin deleted my comment cause it's gone now!! So that pissed me that much more off. So the admin is gonna leave this guys hateful comment but delete mine???? Wtf really??? I screenshotted it look at this crap.

Thanks man. Yea I know I shouldn't let stuff like that bother me and most the time I dont but that really bugged me. It like no one ever helped you out a day in your life? So you came out the womb with a full time job?? For the most part every one every where caught a break from someone at sometime. Where it was your parents a friend or a stranger. Someone somewhere helped you.

Helped a buddy years ago, place i was moving to had washer/dryer.
So i offered mine up to a friend that was using the laundrymat.
Delivered them and offered to help hook them up. No,didnt need my help.
No sooner had i drove away, someone was loading them up as the so called friend sold them before i even delivered them. Thought it was a big joke.

20 years ago, havent given him or his family the time of day since.
I wouldnt piss on him if he was on fire...

I think twice about helping others since then. I do help, but not by giving people saleable goods.

If you feel someone genuinely needs help, by all means,drop a couple bucks or lend a hand,
Others may see it differently or cant see past there own egos to help someone truly in need.

But i always think no good deed goes unpunished.

It doesn’t really matter, there are thousands of reasons and all of them beginning from with themselves.

The only answer is to wash them off yourself as soon as you contact them. They are toxic.

My mantra is that even giving them even an extra minute of thought steals from my soul another minute of my life...and there are far many more, and far better things I can do with the precious few minutes I may have in this life.

I will not ever waste my time on toxic people, it just isn’t even worth a second thought. And the same goes for those that support them...

I know what you mean but iv always thought it is the thought that counts. If you the right thing even if ppl take advantage of you you are still doing the right thing. Others bad doing shouldn't change your good intentions.

Yea I agree with that. I always say I will not let someone else ruin my mood or day. I refuse to let other ppl have control over my emotions cause if they make me mad and I let it bother me it only ruins my day it doesn't affect them. It is nice to have ppl to vent to. Haha

She was so appreciative that it totally made my day. Saw her 2 hours later, barefoot with a 40oz in her hand. I chuckled and told myself she was more thirsty than tender foot. I moved on.

Yea that's exactly right you did the right thing and can't control her actions so her being selfish or whatever you wanna call it does not undo your kindness and what you did you still did a good thing no matter how they accepted it!! Just like the washer and dryer @Tooljunkie !!!
